High quality soils and abundant natural water. River Cauca irrigates this beautiful land . Endless soft mountains covers this vast coffee region.

HISTORY

Don Hector Castro born and raised in the region of Caramanta Antioquia has dedicated most of his adult life to growing and supplying coffee. He is an expert in adquiring excellent coffee from most of the neighbouring farms. He is well liked and respected and has slowly implemented in the region a standard postharvest protocols to ensures his coffee is very consistant through out. All the farms share similar soil and climate conditions, as well as coffee management protocols, so this makes this coffee very unique in characteristics such as

balance and sweetness of cup. The soil conditions are excellent for growing all the tropical crops such as coffee , bananas, citrus fruits and plantains.

Caramanta is a small town sorrounded by hilly and humid mountains reaching above the 2000 meters above sea level. Most of the farms are half in Antioquia and half in Caldas. Increible dramatic scenery of endless steep mountains with River Cauca at a distance.

Varieties: Castilla

Main Crop: May to July and Jan to March Process: Only ripe cherries. drying 8 to 16 hours.

Drying Process: Drying in Silos once it has been washed Temperature between 35c to 45c Humidity at bagging 11.5%
